Scott is the Manager of the Treasury for the City of Calgary, the third largest municipality in Canada. As Manager of the Treasury, Scott is accountable for the strategic direction and operational management of the division, while overseeing the city’s investment, banking, and payment relationships, and the execution of the municipality’s capital advisory, capital financing, bond issuance, payment modernization and investment programs. As of 2024, the investment program had over $7 billion in assets under management that are invested in both traditional and alternative investments.
Scott brings over 15 years experience in the public and private sectors focused on mergers, acquisitions, real estate syndication, treasury, and investment management. Scott holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Victoria, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
