President of Broadview Advisors Inc., an advisory firm based in Toronto that provides clients with independent advice and support in developing and executing transaction strategies, Sean has over twenty years of experience in management consulting, advisory services and investment banking in the real estate and infrastructure asset classes.
From an asset class perspective, his primary area of expertise is land and land/infrastructure development projects and, in particular, transactions structured as ground leases, concessions or Joint Ventures. A recent focus has involved advising a social impact fund that invests in affordable ownership housing development projects. Over the course of his career, he has acted as a transaction advisor on deals totaling over $1BN.
Before founding Broadview Advisors, he was a partner at a real estate investment banking firm. He has also held senior roles as the public sector advisory leader in an investment bank, the real estate practice in a big four advisory firm, and in a government development agency. He started his career at a real estate advisory firm providing market and economic advice on real estate and infrastructure development projects in Canada and the Middle East.
Sean holds a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He is a CFA and CAIA charter holder, and is registered as a Salesperson with the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA). He has also been registered as a Chief Compliance Officer and Dealing Representative with an Exempt Market Dealer registered in the Province of Ontario.
