Shih-Chen Huang is a Business Development Service Lead Specialist at Schroders with over fifteen years of experience in the Asset Management industry.
Her most recent appointment prior to Schroders was as Sales Consultant / Marketing specialist at Orpheus Partners and prior to that, she spent over seven years at Aberdeen Standard Investments, where she was Business Development Manager responsible for business development and client relationship management for APAC and Chinese Institutions. Notably, she was a member of the team dealing on a day-to-day basis with key prospects and strategic clients.
Previously, she worked at Allianz Global Investors, Taiwan, as an Institutional Manager responsible for business development with Institutional Investors. She started her asset management career at Gartmore and held several roles within the firm.
She is a CAIA charter holder and holds the Investment Management Certificate. Shih-Chen graduated with a MBA degree from Royal Holloway, University of London, and passed the CFA Level 1 programme.
Shih-Chen’s mother tongue is Mandarin and is bi-lingual English. In her previous capacity she was required to represent Aberdeen Standard Investments at C-Suite Level where she attended high profile significant events with leading Asian governmental and business entities in support of Charman, Standard Life Aberdeen. Her exposure to numerous Asian business organisations enables her to have a clear understanding of the prerequisites of those organisations to succeed and prosper in the EMEA marketplace.
