Stéphane Amara has been an active member of the CAIA Association since 2005 and has been CAIA Chapter Executive in Montreal since 2009. He has participated in examination grading three times, most recently participating on the Exam Council. Stéphane's expertise is in fundraising, having been involved in business development for over 15 years. He has worked with investors in private equity infrastructure, secondaries, hedge funds, real estate, as well as traditional asset classes. Currently a Director with DB Advisors, the institutional asset management division of Deutsche Bank, Stéphane is responsible for Business Development and Client Relationship Management. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2005, he worked as Head of Business Development and Consultant Relations for the Bank of Ireland Asset Management (Canada), in Global Markets, Sales & Trading with the Equity Derivatives group at BNP Paribas, as well as corporate treasury sales for Republic National Bank of New York. Stéphane received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in Finance, Economics and International Business. In addition to holding the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, Stéphane is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
