Thomas is Director at ACA Group, the leading provider of governance, risk, and compliance(GRC) business and technology solutions. He is part of Performance Services division at ACA, and working on GIPS verification, performance certification, and various focused performance review projects that are related to performance calculation best practices, SEC marketing rule GAP, FINRA RN 20-21 review, etc.
Prior to joining ACA Group, he was manager at Ashland Partners. During his time at Ashland Partners, he was involved in international engagements & international business development as US Director of Korean Operations. Prior to joining Ashland Partners, Thomas was a stock & option broker and a financial planner in South Korea.
Thomas is a CAIA charter holder, as well as a Certified Public Accountant(CPA) and a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM). He earned BS in Business Administration from Kyonggi University in South Korea and got his Master of Business Administration(MBA) from Willamette University in the US.
