Tomoaki Minagawa, CFA, CAIA, is a vice president and account manager in the Tokyo office, covering pension client servicing. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2025, he was a hedge fund investment specialist with UBS Hedge Fund Solutions (HFS), primarily responsible for Multi-Manager Hedge Funds and Private Credit. Prior to that, he managed consultant relationships and institutional client services at UBS Asset Management and Fidelity International in Japan. He began his career as a senior financial adviser at Shinsei Bank. He holds Certified Member Analyst (CMA) from the Securities Analysts Association of Japan, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
