Tricia is the Director of Real Asset Strategies at Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies, where she has been a valued member since October 2013. In this capacity, she spearheads the development and execution of the organization's real asset investment portfolio.
Prior to her current role, Tricia served as the Managing Director of Alpha Strategies at the Missouri State Employees' Retirement System (MOSERS). During her tenure at MOSERS, she held a pivotal position overseeing all actively managed investments, including private investment partnerships and hedge funds. Tricia began her journey with MOSERS in 1999 as an Investment Officer in the fixed-income area. Subsequently, in 2002, she transitioned to the role of Manager of Alternative Investments, where she played a key role in establishing and implementing investment programs encompassing real estate, timber, private equity, and hedge funds. From 2006 to 2012, Tricia served as the Manager of Hedge Funds, successfully transitioning the portfolio from a fund-of-funds into predominantly direct hedge fund investments.
Tricia's educational background comprises a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance, as well as an MBA from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Furthermore, she holds the prestigious CAIA designation and is a CFA charterholder.
