Yoshinobu Yarita is the founder and CEO of Japan Alternative Investment Research Institute and the Senior Adviser to CFO of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings. He has almost 35 years of experience in financial industry and almost 20 years of private equity business.
Previously, he was Managing Director of PAG from 2016 to 2020, engaging private equity investment business at its Japan office. Prior to joining PAG, He worked with Nomura for almost 30 years from 1987 to 2016 and experienced various business such as private equity investment, investment banking, wealth management and research.
In addition to his CAIA designation, he is a Certified Member Analyst of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (CMA). He holds a BA in Economics from Yokohama National University.
He enjoys scuba diving for nearly 40 years.
