Mrs. Writzel began her career at Austrian financial service provider C-Quadrat GmbH, where she worked in client service. Since May 1998, Mrs. Writzel has looked after Asset Allocation AG’s institutional clients and is also responsible for product selection. A Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) with 25 years’ capital market experience, Mrs. Writzel has a solid background in alternative investments.

Panayiotis Lambropoulos, CAIA, Chapter Head, Austin

Panayiotis Lambropoulos is a Portfolio Manager of Hedge Funds at the Employees Retirement System of Texas – a $26 billion retirement plan – located in Austin, Texas. His responsibilities include sourcing, analyzing and evaluating potential hedge fund managers, process and performance assessment, interviewing various fund employees and third-party service providers, and maintaining due diligence efforts.

Dennis Montz, CAIA, Chapter Executive, Houston

Dennis Montz, CAIA, is the Senior Vice President and Director of Private Investments at Sentinel Trust Company. In this role, Montz sources, conducts due diligence on, analyzes, and monitors investments for four proprietary private equity funds of funds in conjunction with external specialized consultants. Additionally, he oversees limited partnership investments in venture capital, corporate finance, and real estate funds, as well as analyzes other private investment opportunities for clients.

Michael Griffin, CAIA, Chapter Executive, Houston

Michael Griffin is a founding partner of SilverOak Financial Group, Ltd., an investment management and financial planning firm in Houston, TX. He began his financial services career in 1999. He subsequently took an interest in the CAIA designation and received his Charter in 2010 in an effort to better serve his clients and in support of his own direct investment activities. Michael graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1990 with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Japanese.
