Jose Luis is also Chief Financial Officer & Director at Opes Acquisition Corp., a SPAC on Nasdaq that targets technology-enhanced high-growth companies. He was former Chief Financial Officer of Opes Acquisition Corp., a SPAC that merged with Burgerfi International, a fast casual “better burger” restaurant concept, in December 2020.

Diego is a partner at MG Capital – a UHNW independent advisor based in Monterrey (Mexico) that offers a holistic investment service for its clients. He is a member of the investment committee for the Alternatives Investment Group. Before joining MG Capital in 2013, Diego worked at BlackRock, focused on LatAm investment products.

Juan Carlos is now transitioning to be appointed as Director and Head of Alternative Investments for one of the leading pension funds in México with assets under management (AUM) of about USD 40 billion. He will be responsible for the portfolio construction, funds selection, structuring, and execution of the private capital investments. Also, he is a non-executive board member of 50+ public listed investment vehicles (CKDs/CERPIs).

Recently, Daniel joined Credicorp Asset Management, where he serves in the Buyside Research team covering the infrastructure, industrial and logistics sectors in the Latinoamerican region. Daniel has experience from the institutional investor standpoint, as previously, he worked at Seguros Alfa, the largest insurance company in Colombia with a portfolio of more than USD $4.2 Bn in AUM.

In 2021, Felipe joined Yellowstone Capital Partners, the leading private equity real estate GP in Colombia (USD +$500 Mn in AUM) focused on mixed-use and large-scale residential projects targeting Colombia’s emerging working and middle-class. He currently serves as the Director of Investments and is responsible for leading all the efforts related to the due diligence, capital deployment, monitoring, and disposition of the assets that are part of the Colombia-focused funds managed by the GP.

Hugo Aravena, CAIA, CFA is responsible for Portfolio Solutions & Asset Allocation for advisory services and discretionary accounts of wealth management clients. BTG Pactual is the biggest Asset Manager in Latin America with USD $49.2b AUM and the biggest Wealth Manager of the region with USD $28b+ AUM. The investment philosophy of BTG has a strong focus in seeking to create alpha for clients where Alternative Assets currently have a tremendous role.

Rodrigo Manzur Lannefranque, CAIA is an independent advisor and consultant who provides services related to alternative and traditional investments, including the regulatory frameworks that apply to institutional investors in Latam. Mr. Manzur is also a ILPA external Staff Member for executive education in Latam. In addition, he created an alternative investment class at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and he is member of closed end funds’ surveillance committees which invest in Private Assets.

Flavio joined Kinea Investimentos in 2012 and is responsible for managing the firm’s real estate debt funds (Approx. AUM BRL 15bn). In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the origination, underwriting, structuring and monitoring duties of commercial real estate debt deals. Prior to joining Kinea, Flavio held a senior role at RB Capital where he was responsible in underwriting, structuring and monitoring real estate debt and equity investments. Earlier in his career was involved in structured credit related roles in different investment management companies.

Beny Schinazi has been at Pragma since 2009. He is co-responsible for selecting Public Equity managers in Emerging Markets. Before joining, Beny worked at UBS Pactual as a portfolio specialist. He received his BS in Production Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (POLI-USP) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/SP). Beny is a CFA®️ and CAIA®️ Charterholder.

Mr. Herkenhoff Moreira is an experienced investment professional. He has six years of practice in Equities at UBS Investment Bank's, where he was a Sell Side Equities Research Analyst, a Business Manager and a Salesman, in four different locations: New York, Stamford, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
