Keith explored how proof-of-work, such as Bitcoin mining, and proof-of-stake protocols, such as Cardano, are used to secure networks and complete transactions. Behind many of these currencies are real businesses, such as projects built on top of Ethereum smart contracts that facilitate borrowing and lending as well as options and futures trading.

Also, he is a non-executive board member of 50+ public listed investment vehicles (CKDs/CERPIs).

Daniel Gutierrez, CAIA, CFA, Chapter Executive, Colombia

Recently, Daniel joined Credicorp Asset Management, where he serves in the Buyside Research team covering the infrastructure, industrial and logistics sectors in the Latinoamerican region. Daniel has experience from the institutional investor standpoint, as previously, he worked at Seguros Alfa, the largest insurance company in Colombia with a portfolio of more than USD $4.2 Bn in AUM.

In 2021, Felipe joined Yellowstone Capital Partners, the leading private equity real estate GP in Colombia (USD +$500 Mn in AUM) focused on mixed-use and large-scale residential projects targeting Colombia’s emerging working and middle-class. He currently serves as the Director of Investments and is responsible for leading all the efforts related to the due diligence, capital deployment, monitoring, and disposition of the assets that are part of the Colombia-focused funds managed by the GP.

Rodrigo Manzur Lannefranque, CAIA is an independent advisor and consultant who provides services related to alternative and traditional investments, including the regulatory frameworks that apply to institutional investors in Latam. Mr. Manzur is also a ILPA external Staff Member for executive education in Latam. In addition, he created an alternative investment class at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and he is member of closed end funds’ surveillance committees which invest in Private Assets.
