In addition to discussing investment opportunities, both co-investment and fund investment, we dived into portfolio management and portfolio construction to design a resilient portfolio for uncertain environments.

Lena Huang is currently working as Investor Relations at Infini Capital, which is a multi-PM/Strategy pan-Asia hedge fund with presence in Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates. Prior to that, she served as Sales and Marketing Manager at GaoTeng Global Asset Management, a joint venture between with Hillhouse and Tencent. In her early days, Lena worked as Public Relations Manager (Financial Communications) at Wonderful Sky Financial Group.

Ada Liu, CAIA, China Subcommittee Member

Ada Liu, CAIA, is an experienced professional with 8 years in institutional business development within the asset management industry. Currently serving as Associate Director of Business Development at GaoTeng Global Asset Management, a joint venture between Hillhouse and Tencent, Ada covers global asset allocators, including pensions, endowments, foundations, FOFs, and family offices, across both long-only funds and hedge funds.

Scarlett Mu, CAIA, China Subcommittee Member

Scarlett is in charge of Investor Relations for Alpha Elephant Capital, a China-focused hedge fund based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for managing client relationships and communicating investment strategies to clients. Scarlett holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick. She became a CAIA Charterholder in 2022, and she is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Crystal Liu, CAIA, China Subcommittee Member

Crystal Liu is the Executive Director of the private equity business of AVIC Capital International. She is responsible for overall private equity investments and fund products, including private equity (funds and direct) investments, private equity fund strategy, funds establishment and fundraising. Prior to joining AVIC Capital International, she served as Director of Capital Markets at MCM Partners, where she was responsible for private market transactions. Previously, she served as Head of Investor Relations at Vobile Group.

Since the dawn of finance, wherever there is an object of value, there is a secondary market developed and evolved to provide solutions—namely liquidity—to the asset holders. Private assets, despite the expectation of illiquidity, are no different, and a robust market has developed to match buyers of private interests (typically institutional secondaries funds) with sellers (LPs or GPs, more on this later).
