Purpose and Scope:

The CAIA Association is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Chapter Relations Intern to join our Chapter Relations team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with our network of chapters, supporting their operations, events, and member engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering community and engagement within the alternative investment industry.

Hemal Naran, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Hemal has over twenty years experience in investment management and advisory, covering multiple asset classes across listed and private markets. He previously worked for some of the world’s largest asset owners, investment managers and global banks. Hemal’s role is to oversee portfolio management and research activities at SouthBridge Investments, and to represent SouthBridge in ongoing dialogues with clients and prospective clients.

Patrick Morelli, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Patrick Morelli, CAIA is a Senior Strategic Accounts Manager. He helps educate Registered Investment Advisors on custom model portfolios, alternative asset classes, structures, and specific investment strategies. 

Before joining Russell Investments, Patrick was a Principal with Hamilton Lane and a Managing Director with Redbrick.

Patrick has an MBA from the University of Colorado and lives near Red Rocks Amphitheatre where he enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing in his spare time.
