Darren Chua Chee How is an experienced investment professional with extensive expertise in energy, infrastructure, and renewables, specializing in M&A, commercial strategy, and financial management. As the Chief Investment Officer at PT Asian Bulk Logistics, Darren is responsible for managing the company’s investment portfolio, identifying strategic opportunities, mitigating risks, and driving sustainable growth through innovative financial solutions and partnerships.
“When you are working in the valuation space for an investment bank the size and scope of Credit Suisse, exposure to alternative investments is ineluctable. As part of the Inventory Valuation Review process, I help breakdown and explain both why the investment bank has taken certain valuation adjustments used in fair value measurement (e.g. Credit Valuation Adjustments, Debit Valuation Adjustments, Funding Valuation Adjustments, etc.) and what were the key drivers behind salient, usually quarter-to-date, movements.
As Director of Client Relations at EQT Group, Eugene Hsieh, CAIA® serves as a consultant to RIAs, family offices, private banks, and other private wealth intermediaries on the subject of private markets and alternative investments.
He has gained broad experience over multiple asset classes and investment strategies during his time at Victory Capital, Natixis Investment Managers, and Putnam Investments where he served in similar roles.
