Seattle Now Home to the Newest Chapter of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association

Global leader in alternative investment education brings together the region’s asset managers, asset owners, consultants and others from the investment landscape AMHERST, MASS. (March 24, 2017) – The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association, a global leader in alternative investment education, has made Seattle the home of its newest Chapter, it was announced today. With this launch, CAIA now has 29 Chapters worldwide, 11 of which are in the U.S.

Erik Lehr, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Erik Lehr, CFA, CAIA, is the Director of Research at Empirical Wealth Management. He manages the firm’s research and trading strategies and works with clients to develop and manage their investment portfolios. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor in Economics and Mathematics, and also earned a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Oregon and a Master of Science in Computational Finance and Risk Management from the University of Washington.

Lisa Cavallari, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Lisa A. Cavallari, CAIA, FRM is a director of fixed income derivatives and commodities for Russell Investments. Prior to Russell, Lisa spent over six years as a portfolio manager and trader on the structured products desk at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock). Prior roles involved managing derivative overlays for large pension plans, creating a hedge fund at ZGI Group and a year as a researcher at Ibbotson Associates. She holds Series 24, 7 and 63 licenses and is both a CAIA and FRM charter holder. Lisa earned a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A.
