As Director of Research, David is responsible for combining internal and external research to improve decision-making for the firm’s investment strategies. In this role, David functions as a data translator – identifying the market narrative based on trends in data. As a Portfolio Manager, David is responsible for co-managing the firm’s various investment strategies, which include a variety of tactical and strategic offerings.

Andrew Brodbeck is the Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investments, Business Development for US Retail at Alliance Bernstein. Prior to joining AB, he was a Director of Capital Formation at subsidiary AB CarVal, a $16 billion alternative credit firm. He was responsible for global fundraising of opportunistic credit, specialty finance, aviation, and renewable energy strategies. Prior to AB CarVal, he was a Senior Director at Cargill, responsible for marketing real assets and commodity derivatives across the agriculture, energy, and metal sectors.
