Adam Evans is Director at Institutional Client Group Lazard Asset Management. He began working in the investment field in 1994. Prior to joining Lazard in 2017, Adam was a Director with Cushing Asset Management. He has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington. Adam is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA). He is a CAIA Charterholder and a member of The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association.
“Shortly after receiving my CFA charter in 2017, I transitioned internally to the Hedge Fund Research Boutique at Mercer. Being relatively new to the hedge fund space, I wanted to find a way of deepening my knowledge of alternative investments as an asset class, given the rapid growth of non-traditional investments. Flicking through the books, I noticed that in addition to hedge funds, the curriculum also covered several other areas including private equity, real estate, and structured products.
