Byung-Gyoo Kim joined NH-Amundi Asset Management in December 2015. Currently, he is in charge of the Quant & Global Department. Prior to NH-Amundi Asset Management Ben was an Executive Director at Korea Investment Management (KIM) with responsibility for setting up business for institutions such as pension funds, foundations, endowments, etc. Prior to joining KIM, he was the head of global proprietary desk at Korea Investment & Securities (KIS), a parent company of KIM. He served as the Chief Investment Officer for four and a half years at KIARA Advisor, a hedge fund firm in Singapore. Previously, he was Head of the Derivatives Solution Group at Korea Investment Securities (KIS). Before joining KIS, he was General Manager and Head of the Hedge Fund Team at Mirae Asset Securities. He was also a Manager at Samsung. Card Co. and a Consulting Professor at KAIST and Kyung Hee Graduate School of Management. He has a B.S. and an M.S in Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
