Frans is a senior director at bfinance, an independent, privately-owned, financial services firm that provides advice to companies and institutional investors around the globe. Frans joined bfinance’s London office in early 2007 as part of the research and development team. In 2009, Frans was promoted to a director position and moved to the Netherlands where he opened the bfinance Dutch office. In his current role, he supports Institutional Investors in the Benelux and Danish market with highly customised specialist advisory solutions including investment strategy design, investment manager search and selection, customised portfolio implementation, analytics and monitoring. Prior to joining bfinance, Frans worked at ING in The Hague in their Fixed Income and Corporate Treasury department managing liquidity, foreign exchange and interest rate risks for ING Insurance Holding. Prior to that, Frans worked as a portfolio manager for institutional clients with ING Investment Management. Frans received his MSc in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
