Prior to joining the Canadian arm of Albourne Partners, a well-regarded global specialty consulting firm in the alternative investments niche, Saswata has had progressive experience in national level stock exchanges and in the funding and investor relations side of the startup ecosystem in India. At Albourne, Saswata is responsible for supporting the firm's Hedge Funds and Private Markets (Private Equity, Real Estate and Real Assets) Fund Operational Due Diligence practices, helping allocators with manager screening and selection. Saswata is essentially a commerce graduate with honors in accounts and finance and is also an MBA from IIM Calcutta. As for his interest in continuing education, he has been an active CAIA charter holder since 2017 and is also an advanced level candidate for two other designations in finance, having completed Level II of CFA and Level I of FRM (GARP). Saswata takes keen interest in arts and is an active member of the Art Gallery of Ontario.
