Over the past 13 years at Waterloo, he has been created an alternative investment platform and public market asset management arm which has contributed significantly to the firm’s growth.

Gustavo Portellinha, CAIA, Chapter Head, Brazil

Gustavo leads Alpine Capital Advisors' business in Brazil. Before joining Alpine, Gustavo had extensive experience in investment management and business development in Brazil, Luxembourg and Sweden. His experience includes managing investments at a Brazilian pension fund and a multi-family office. In Luxembourg, Gustavo worked in the product management area of Nordea Asset Management, where he covered emerging markets and global equities. In 2018, Gustavo moved to Stockholm to attend the Executive MBA at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE).

Gordon is an Investment Analyst at International Finance Corporation (IFC) — the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group. He specializes in Southeast Asia Growth Equity Investments and Fund of Funds Investments in the Disruptive Technologies and Funds team at IFC. Prior to joining IFC, Gordon was a Senior Analyst at Genting Ventures, where he assessed and executed global early-stage sector-agnostic venture capital investment opportunities.

Lena Huang, CAIA, Community Engagement Subcommittee Member

Lena Huang is currently working as Investor Relations at Infini Capital, which is a multi-PM/Strategy pan-Asia hedge fund with presence in Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates. Prior to that, she served as Sales and Marketing Manager at GaoTeng Global Asset Management, a joint venture between with Hillhouse and Tencent. In her early days, Lena worked as Public Relations Manager (Financial Communications) at Wonderful Sky Financial Group.
