Debra is a Partner and Board Director of Albourne Partners Limited. As Asia Region Head, she is responsible for Albourne’s practice across Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan while overseeing Albourne’s Portfolio Group strategy, advice and delivery of client outcomes in Asia. Her experience spans 32 years in the financial industry including equity research, equity and fixed income asset management and alternatives advisory.

Tomoko Yano, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Tomoko Yano is the Head of Alternative Investments. She oversees the various alternative investments for Aflac Asset Management Japan, where she initially joined as the General Manager in the Investment Planning Division. She brings 20 years of diverse experience in finance, including direct lending, private equities, commercial real estate loans, infrastructure debt and equities, and various hedge fund strategies. Her previous experience includes fund research and sourcing at a gatekeeper in Hong Kong and as an equity analyst at hedge funds in Hong Kong and New York.

Nick Pollard is a seasoned leader with over 15 years of international finance experience in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Currently, he is helping drive CAIA Association’s expansion in this key market, leveraging his expertise in business development and his passion for training the next generation of finance professionals. Nick's career includes a successful seven-year tenure as Managing Director for the CFA Institute in APAC, where he worked closely with institutional partners, employers, universities, and regulators.
