Chanyang Hong, FDP, CAIA, Chapter Executive

Chanyang Hong is an equity portfolio manager and a team manager at Heungkuk Asset Management in Seoul, South Korea. He began his career as a sell side equity research analyst at Shinhan Investment securities where he covered the steel sector. He continued his career as a portfolio manager at Tongyang (currently Woori), BNK and HDC asset management. He has a deep understanding of the Korean equity market and is interested in applying data science driven methodologies to fundamental equity analysis.

Jennifer von Briesen, CAIA

I was a little apprehensive when I registered to take the CAIA Level I Exam since I started preparing late in the year and wasn’t sure if I’d have enough time to complete the lengthy and rigorous study required to pass. It wasn’t a work requirement, but I wanted to build my knowledge and acumen to contribute more value in my role as Head of Strategy Implementation, Alternative Investments at MassMutual.

Andreas Rothacher, CFA, CAIA, Chapter Head, Zurich

Andreas is the Head of Investment Research and Senior Investment Consultant at Complementa in Zurich. In his current role he advises Swiss and German institutional investors on their strategic asset allocation and manager selection. In addition, he is one of the co-authors of the annual Complementa Risk Check-Up pension study. He is also the author of various articles and publications. Andreas is a Chapter Executive of the CAIA Zurich Chapter and a member of the CFA Swiss Pensions Conference Committee.
