Daniel (Danny) Santiago is a Director at Harmonic Fund Services, one of the largest independent fund administrators, delivering a range of services and technology to hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, private banks, pension funds and family offices. Daniel has been with Harmonic since the firm’s inception (2003), and serves as the Head of Business Development in addition to managing multiple engagement teams that provide fund administration, outsourced operations and technology to institutional asset managers.

Sean Kulik, CAIA, Chapter Executive in Ottawa

Sean has been a CAIA member since 2014. He is the CFO at Nunavut Trust, a closed endowment based in Ottawa. Sean focuses on overall asset allocation, manager selection, risk management, and portfolio monitoring. Sean is actively involved in the CFA Society of Ottawa and he currently sits on the investment committee for the University of Ottawa Telfer Capital Fund, and the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library. Sean holds a BComm from the University of Ottawa, is a CAIA Charterholder, a CFA Charterholder, and also a Chartered Accountant.

Chris Kay, CAIA, Chapter Executive in Toronto

Chris is an Associate at Hanover Private Client Corporation, a multi-family office in Toronto. Chris' specialization is in early stage venture investment. Chris has been an active member in the Toronto start-up technology industry. He was the Group Manager of the Ryerson Angel Network at Ryerson University, and in 2011 Co-Founded the not-for-profit organization Multiplicity, which supports education and thought provoking conversations around technology and entrepreneurship.

Ivy Leung, CAIA, CFA, Chapter Head in Canada West

Ivy is a Consultant & Coach. She provides financial services companies with strategic advices and helps wealth management organizations build and transform their business. She also supports them in product knowledge training. As a coach, she works with advisors who are looking to improve their practice and investment process and demonstrate their value to clients. 

Ruth Carolan

As Managing Director of Global Operations, Ruth oversees finance, legal, human resources and IT for the Association. Leading initiatives in these areas, she works to mitigate risk across the organization and ensure legal compliance on federal and state matters in the United States as well as abroad. Ruth is the liaison with CAIA’s overseas offices and works closely with the Association leadership to develop and implement international strategic priorities to support long-term plans for growth. She also works closely with the CAIA’s Board of Directors and the CAIA Foundation.

Hossein Kazemi, Ph.D., CFA

Dr. Hossein Kazemi, Ph.D., CFA, is the Senior Advisor to the CAIA Association’s Program. He helps with the development of the CAIA program's curriculum and directs the CAIA Association’s academic partnership program. In addition he serves as the editor of Alternative Investment Analyst Review, which is published by the CAIA Association. Dr. Kazemi has been involved in the CAIA Association since inception as a senior adviser and board member. William (Bill) J. Kelly, CAIA

William (Bill) J. Kelly, CAIA is the CEO of the CAIA Association. Bill has been a frequent industry speaker, writer, and commentator on alternative investment topics around the world since taking the leadership role at the CAIA Association in January, 2014. Previously, Bill was the CEO of Boston Partners and one of seven founding partners of the predecessor firm, Boston Partners Asset Management which, prior to a majority interest being sold to Robeco Group in Rotterdam in 2002, was an employee-owned firm.
